I've had personal spiritual confirmation of my beliefs, and rely completely on God - not on men. I'm sorry to hear that you lost the happiness you had before in the Church.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03552740645279057549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2780506856626441160.post-69279228684580988912012-11-25T13:00:22.855-08:002012-11-25T13:00:22.855-08:00My heart hurts for you. There is NOTHING wrong wit...My heart hurts for you. There is NOTHING wrong with you. Please know that. Tear up that 'advice' because it is only hurting you. The gospel does not offer the peace you are seeking. The 'church' wants us to reach our full potential, but you cannot do that in this oppressive and shaming religion. Being, and loving yourself and having a loving relationship with people and yourself is what the 'gospel' is keeping you from. I only just got out of the church, due to learning it's painful and decieving history, that it's truth claims are false and it is a completely man-made church. Do not allow man's opinions and policies to direct you under the guisse of God's dcotrine. I have been a faithful, full-tithe paying, married to a returned missionary in the temple, member for 30 years... and my husband and I have never been happier now that we have left. You can also have that happiness!LLhttp://www.littlelovables.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2780506856626441160.post-72562725635913676062012-11-19T16:56:24.675-08:002012-11-19T16:56:24.675-08:00David, it was an INCREDIBLE opportunity to meet yo...David, it was an INCREDIBLE opportunity to meet you on Saturday! I'm very abnormal for having Aspergers; I don't tend to show it much, but I feel for you. Honestly, joining into this brotherhood of men (and women) who are supporting each other in dealing with our SSA inside the bounds of the gospel is amazing. When I left the conference on Saturday, I felt full of power! The world needs more of that and that's where we come in! :) Take care!Spencerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02478988585485347557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2780506856626441160.post-22701943170293452592012-11-18T15:08:52.741-08:002012-11-18T15:08:52.741-08:00I appreciate your blog and your testimony. I love how the Lord opens just the right doors whenever we exercise faith in Him and His Plan.

tDMgA Well-Behaved Mormon Womanhttp://wellbehavedmormonwoman.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2780506856626441160.post-38553457663727657442012-11-17T21:00:43.277-08:002012-11-17T21:00:43.277-08:00David,

I appreciate your thoughts and I always gain from your insight. I wish I would have had the chance to meet you there. I would have loved to thank you for your writing. It has been a positive force in my life.

I also participated in the Voices of Hope project today. It was an incredible experience to add my testimony of the gospel to so many great people. I did not fully understand the strength and conviction of the incredible people in this community. I felt like it was a much needed break from the stresses and the difficulties that have been so apparent in my life recently. Instead, it was just a time to focus on love and living the Gospel.

So thank you. Thank you for your writing. Thank you for your sharing. And thank you for being a voice. Perhaps someday we will get the chance to meet.

JarrodJarrod Callhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10798839571453918758noreply@blogger.com
